Oscar Delgado leads ICCT’s Heavy-Duty Vehicles Program in Latin America and India. He also co-leads ICCT’s activities in the Zero Emission Bus Rapid-deployment Accelerator (ZEBRA) partnership with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. Oscar has 15+ years of experience working in technology and policy topics around heavy-duty vehicles. He has served as principal investigator and project manager for numerous research projects related to vehicle efficiency, emissions reduction, and commercial fleets’ electrification. He has worked with policymakers in the United States, the European Union, China, India, and Latin America. Oscar holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, and M.Sc. and B.A. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
